Milan’s nightlife scene cannot be said to be subdued as richie rich’s as well as the next door youngster bows down before the city also the fashion capital of the world. Where there’s fashion, hard core partying is not escapable. The city lives on a very industrious background, where the Milanese people work to keep the GDP rate towards a higher side. And the nightlife is a good tunnel route where they see and feel vibrancy, energy and pulsating music rocking the place. The average day of a Milanese ends with a drink at the bar, which is customary after a tiring day at work.

Most of the nightlife of Milan centers at two main areas of the city: Brera Gallery and Navigli canal. Nightclubs in Milan are known for playing some good range of music, but mostly specialize in jazz and rock. International band regularly tour the city, so the music scene will always be up-to-date. Just beware of paying the entry fee for getting into nightclubs as these could vary according to the whim of the bouncer.

The live energy starts coming into its own only after 11.00 pm in the night which will go on till 4.00 pm. So its better you have some snacks or dine at the cafes/restaurants to pump up the energy for all the partying. If you broke, but still want to enjoy you could try going to ‘Centri Sociali’ who arrange free entertainment shows and some cheap drinks and vegetarian food.
